Lovesick Youth is the name of our youth group:
Being lovesick for Christ simply means being so in love with Him that we cannot stop our desire to be with Him. We won't be satisfied or fulfilled until He returns to take back His bride (the church). Until that day comes, we will be watching and waiting, and more importantly, telling others about this wonderful relationship we have with the man, Jesus Christ.
Ages: 7th – 12th (Some college age as well)
Our purpose is to serve God, & to serve others; to spread the good news by showing others the love of Christ; to sustain each other in Christ through fellowship; and to maintain spiritual growth through discipleship.
Youth service: Sunday night 5:30pm – 6:30pm (Games, food, & fellowship)
6:30pm – 8:00pm (Praise & worship, message, etc.)
8:00pm - ?pm (Hangout time)
Extravagant worship is what sparks the flames of passion in this service. We want to usher in God's presence through anointed worship sessions. Our desire is for young people to experience freedom where the Spirit of the Lord is, and to encounter a living God who wants to pour out His love on them. We believe this kind of worship helps to open up hearts to hear and understand the Word of God that is spoken every service. We want these youth to look to God's word for their strength, inspiration, encouragement, and hope. We want them to renew their minds with His words that are spirit and life, so that He can transform their lives from the inside out.
